Exciting news for SciFi fans, TrekWeb has an interview with David Foster of 1947 Entertainment about a possible return of a Star Trek series. From the interview it sounds like concept ideas have been drawn up but nothing pitched to CBS yet.

This could yet be just another failed attempt to get a Trek TV series back but I can’t help but to be optimistic. I think a lot will depend on how the next J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie goes in theatres. I don’t think it will be quite a success as The Dark Knight but I do think it will be pretty high up there which might persuade CBS to sign off on another show.
